Join Catskill Mountain Club Board memnber Ann Roberti on a paddle on the first weekend of the opening of the Pepacton. Launch at the Shavertown Bridge boat launch, on the north side of the bridge, Easy-Moderate: 3 - 4 hours: bring a lunch and plenty of water; Boats MUST be steam-cleaned - $10 - $15 for boar cleansing; Pre-registration is required; To register (required by 5/22) and for questions contact Ann.
You can have your boar cleansed at any number of boat cleansing stations (visit NYC DEP website for details:
http://www.nyc.gov/html/dep/html/recreation/boating.html for permits and a map of launch sites.
